It is so hard to believe, but our little one is ready to start "solid" foods. We waited until Saturday so Daddy could be there for the special meal and chowed down. Molly was really excited at the beginning and wanted to hold the spoon all by herself.
I'm not sure we actually got all that much food in her tummy, but it was a big step in the right direction. Pretty soon we will be on to sweet potatoes, bananas, avocados, peas ... yum!
In other news, Molly had her six month checkup last week. She measured in at an amazing 28 1/2 inches tall and tipped the scales at 16 pounds, 12.5 ounces! That puts her above the 97th percentile in height and the 75th percentile in weight.
Instead of getting up on her knees to crawl, Molly prefers to get places by rolling around. She can actually get pretty far just by rolling and spinning on her tummy! It is quite the sight. She has a tendency to end up underneath the furniture!
Molly has also transitioned out of her infant bath seat and is now in her very own big girl tub where she can sit up all on her own! She loves it!

I can't believe how fast she has grown! Enjoy those feedings--don't worry, they do get a little less messy as you go along! -Jenna
