Happy Halloween!
We kicked off the week's Halloween festivities with a little pumpkin carving.
Molly wasn't very fond of the slimy pumpkin guts.
Once the pumpkins were all cleaned out, Molly was much more excited to get to decorating. We found a really cool pumpkin set that Molly could hammer into the pumpkin herself! She loved it!
Look at that focus!
Peek-a-boo!
Both of the kids loved the results!
After all that fun, Mason decided it was time for him to stand all by himself! He balanced for about 10 seconds a few times!
Next up was a fantastic party for Molly's preschool class. Our little flower was so excited!
The kiddos definitely had a good time. They played a few games, including pass the pumpkin and pumpkin toss.
Not surprisingly, Mason tried to get in on the action too. Molly was happy to oblige with a kiss.
I loved the expression on their faces here.
Well, minus Molly's black eye, I love their expression. Yes, Molly decided that she didn't want to be just any old flower for Halloween night, and that she thought a Black Eyed Susan would be a good choice. So, on Tuesday afternoon she ran full speed ahead into the open car door. Thankfully she just has a whopper of a bruise.
Giggles!
We kicked off the party on Halloween night with a creepy dinner! Jack-o-lantern spaghetti heads and dirt cake for dessert. Molly loved it!
Mason wanted some too!
Mason even carried his own candy pail!
It didn't take long for our little tiger to run out of steam. He crashed and slept most of the way.
Meanwhile, Molly ran almost the entire way!
It was so nice last night we even got to sit on the front porch when we got home. Molly might have liked greeting the trick-or-treaters that came to our door even more than she liked getting the candy herself! She gave our some pretty generous handfuls!
And, to prove that I actually do exist, here is a rare picture of me with my two precious babies! I am truly blessed!
