What a Trip to the Pumpkin Patch!

Last weekend we were lucky to have Grandma and Pa come with us for a visit to the farm so we could check out the pumpkin patch and the other fall activities. It was quite the adventure! Not only did Molly get to pick out the perfect pumpkin, but she also got to ride a pony, take a wagon ride, feed the animals, ride in a barrel with Dad, and "drive the tractors." What a day!

We saw some pretty big pumpkins! They were great for climbing.

There was even the perfect sized donkey to take out for a drive.

After all that climbing we headed over to check out the animals. Grandma showed Molly how to feed the bunnies, goats, and even the chickens!

Say Quack!

Checking out the buffalo with Dad ... what a little farm girl, pink boots and all.

More pumpkins!

"Help, I'm stuck in the pumpkins!"

Molly loved riding the pony! She seemed to be a natural ... much better than her Mom.

After riding the horses, we climbed aboard a giant wagon and took a short drive out to the pumpkin patch. We drove past some good old Texas longhorns ... here is a fun shot of Molly and Dad "mooing" at them as we went along.

The pumpkin patch was enormous and absolutely beautiful!

After we found the perfect pumpkins, Molly decided it was time to drive the tractors.

One of the last activities of the day was a good old barrel ride! Molly loved it!

Climbing the hay.

The farm also had a train for the kiddos to play on. Molly thought it was fantastic!

Molly and Grandma did a little cattle roping.

The farm had a huge 30 acre corn maze, but we were a little afraid that Molly might leave us in the dust, so we opted to play it safe and let Molly explore the kiddo maze. She definitely helped Pa get through that one.

Hmmm...Which way to go?

One final place to climb! Look at the size of those tires!

On our way out Molly and Pa stopped to take a closer look at some of the Halloween decorations. Molly wasn't so sure about this one.

We had such a fun time! Happy Fall everyone!
