About a week ago we headed down to the Springs and went to one of my favorite places: the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. We were really lucky to have Grandma join us for the adventure!
As many of you know, Molly's favorite teething toy is Sophie the Giraffe. Well, at the zoo Molly got to see real live giraffes up close and in person!
Midway through the afternoon we decided to have an ice cream break. Molly was just too cute, licking her lips and staring at our cones with a longing in her big blue eyes. So, against our pediatrician's recommendations, we gave in and let her have a few licks. She was in heaven! It definitely went over better than rice cereal.

Molly had a fantastic time and stayed wide awake the entire time we were there. Here she is still smiling away just before we left.
